One of our big values at Golden Electrical is a good healthy work life balance. So once it hits 5pm the work phone gets put to the side so family can be the primary focus. Our business hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

While it might seem like a simple question there’s a range of answers that’ll vary from person to person.
Personally I’d say you’ll find the best products at any electrical wholesaler as electrical is their main focus and want to make sure it’s all up to code. In saying that there are some lower quality items that can be found there. Bunnings is a popular choice for people who are purchasing their own materials. However bunnings can be a hit and miss. While they do hold a small amount of good electrical products, the other products are going to be exactly what you pay for. Beacon lighting are pretty safe and reliable.

All materials come with a manufacturers warranty, so if we supplied it we’ll replace it for free. On top of that is our own warranty that includes any issues that may arise due to the installers work.
What we don’t cover is replacing a faulty item a customer has supplied. For example if a customer buys a light and gets us to install it, if down the road the light breaks we’ll have to charge to replace it. Unless it breaks from something that we’ve done.

We sure do. Give us a call or contact us via this website and we’d be happy to book in a time to come out and inspect your work, free of charge for the first hour.

Unfortunately we don’t service these things. However we can wire in an aircon circuit feed to the outside condenser for the aircon people to connect their units to. With solar and aircon work most of the time the people that do that stuff just stick with that stuff. So solar people mostly only do solar and don’t branch out. With Airconditioning there’s extra training required to install/repair ac unit.

Absolutely. There are so many electricians out there, all with different prices and we understand you don’t want to be ripped off. Our quotes are valid for 30 day so if you’d like to get other quotes or just sit on it for a bit that’s completely fine with us. We don’t want anyone to feel pressured into signing something they’re not 100% on.

Depending on the work you get done, that’ll decide whether or not you need to upgrade your breakers.
Besides that, it’s always good to be up to date with electrical protection. Most houses only have fuses or circuit breakers with no RCD protection. They only protect the cable from pulling too much power and doesn’t protect the people living in the house.
